A flashmob will dance at a surprise location

GVAT’s Climate Justice Team is organizing the United for Old Growth action in the riding of Saanich South on Sept. 28th, a day of actions across the province to draw attention to the government’s unfulfilled commitment to implement all 14 recommendations of the Old Growth Strategic Review report.   At risk old growth forests recommended for deferral continue to be logged.  Fittingly, the action will be a dancing flashmob to urge Saanich South MLA, Lana Popham, the Minister of Tourism, ARTS, Culture and Sport, to stand up strong for old growth protection.
